The document describes the process of creating a laptop stand using 3D modeling software, a laser cutter, and finishing techniques. The creator used Fusion 360 to design the shape of the stand including supports, exported the design as DXF files to be laser cut, and added their name in Inkscape for a personal touch. After cutting, the pieces were assembled and beeswax polish was applied to finish the laptop stand.

I used the application Fusion 360 to create the shape
of the laptop stand. I added supports to the bottom to give it better balance when holding my laptop. Step Two: Using the Laser Cutter.
I then turned the legs, top and supports into DXF
files so they would be able to be put into a program to be cut. I then used a program called Inkscape, and added my name onto it to add a personal touch on my project. Step Three: Finishing the Project After it was cut, I removed the pieces from the cut wood and put them together to make sure they fit well. Then I used beeswax polish to make the Laptop stand “pop” more when it was finished.
