(2) 단수, 복수 형태가 같은 명사


means, series, sheep, fish(es), salmon(s), shrimp(s) ⇒수일치 조심

Ex. A fish a creature that lives in water.

(3) 항상 복수 취급하는 불가산명사 : Cattle

(4) 복합 명사의 복수 Þ 뒤의 명사에만 “-s”를 붙여서 표현한다.

5. 숫자 + 단위
[예문] She is ten years old. [비교] She is a ten-year-old girl.

⇒ 하이픈(-)으로 연결되면서 형용사 역할을 하는 [숫자+단위] 표현은 단수로 쓴다.
