Criteria For A Good Lesson Plan
Criteria For A Good Lesson Plan
In developing a good lesson plan, four criteria (Kizlik, 2004) need to be considered.
1. The expected learning outcomes should specify what the pupils will actually do
(or be expected to do) that are observable to the teacher. (appropriate learning
objectives and learning outcomes)
2. Adequate and relevant resources (including time).
3. Effective instructional strategies for the level of intended pupils learning.
4. Motivating activities which contribute directly and effectively to the lesson
objectives, including fair and accurate evaluation of pupils’ understanding of
concepts or mastery of skills.
