September 30th - October 4th

Notes:
 Mrs. Baiers has been nominated for teacher of the year for the 2018-2019 school year
 Our school will have its first active shooter drill on Thursday, October 3rd. All students will be
reminded that this is only a drill.

Upcoming Events:
 Parent teacher conferences are this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7-8:30 am and 4:30-7
pm. Make sure you have signed up for a time.
 Friday we have our first movie night of the year! We will be watching The Incredibles 2. Movie
night starts at 7:30.

What We Are learning:

 Kindergarten are starting their reading groups and centers
 1st grade is working on asking questions as they read
 2nd grade is learning about ways to show a 3 digit number
 3rd grade is learning how to use/create a picture graph and a bar graph
 4th grade is finishing up their novel story and focusing on character development

4th grade Student Spotlight:

 4th grader Sydney Shnider is this week's
student spotlight. Sydney plays lacrosse and
is a defender. Besides playing lacrosse
Sydney loves to hang out with her cats
named Bear and Jill. For Sydney’s good dead
of the week she stayed after class and
helped Miss. Brady clean down all of the
student desks.
