Digital Learning Day: ​The time has come… it is the last week of 3rd grade for each of you!

This week, the 3rd


grade teachers decided to give you all some fun activities to get ready for summer!

Day 1 - Pajama/Game Day 


How to Pajama Day:
1. Put on your most favorite set of pajamas
2. Grab your favorite board game OR create your own board game
a. Steps on How to Create Your Own Board Game
3. Find a partner
4. Then play the game with your partner
5. Take pictures of you playing the game and ​upload pictures of your game to your class Padlet

Day 2- Superhero Day 


How to be a Superhero Day
1. Dress up as your favorite Superhero
2. Complete an awesome act for a family member (​video tape this and then upload it to our class
Padlet​). Options:
a. Clean a room in your house
b. Call a relative that does not live in your house or a friend you haven’t talked to in a while and
ask them how they are doing
c. Write a note to your parents and tell them why you appreciate them
d. Help your parents make a meal

Day 3- Barnwell Bear Day 
How to Barnwell Bear:
1. Get up and put on your favorite Barnwell spirit wear
2. If you have a favorite teddy bear, go ahead and grab that too!
3. Write a letter to the new students coming into your class next year giving advice and encouragement
on how to succeed in your class. ​Template​: Letter to Future 3rd Grader
a. Take a picture of your letter and upload to your class Padlet
4. Grab a book that is about bears or anything and find a cozy spot in your house and read.

Day 4- Camping Day  


How to camp in your living room:
1. Grab a sleeping bag and a flashlight
2. Grab a book or two
3. Start grabbing some cushions and build yourself a fort.
4. Once your fort is built, tuck away inside of the fort and read your book.

Day 5- Beach Day 


How to be a beachgoer:
1. Grab your beach items (floaties, pool noodles, sunglasses, sunscreen, and sandals)
2. Pack a picnic and eat outside for lunch.
3. Log on to ClassLink, click on Safari Montage, then in the search bar type: ​The​ ​Magic School Bus
Goes to Mussel Beach
4. Watch this movie, ​then go to your class Padlet and tell us what your favorite part of the movie was​.

3. iReady Lessons: Work at your current level (this is for both Reading and Math)

4. Continue working on your ​Week 8 Choice Board​ from STEAM week if you didn’t finish an activity
