the hot news about the A strong aftershock Hits India and Nepal on Sunday (4/26),
shaking buildings in New Delhi, India, and loading avalanches in the Himalayan
mountains.. The United States Geological Survey noted that the aftershock had a
magnitude of 6.7. The 7.9 magnitude earthquake shook on Saturday (25/4) and killed
at least 1,900 people, as well as at least 4,000 injured.
The Earthquake was reported to last about twenty seconds. Initially reported to be
magnitude 7.5 by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) before being revised
to a magnitude of 7.8.
it was the most powerful earthquake that shook Nepal since the 1934 Nepal - Bihar
earthquake.

And We are going to see how the current condition is after the latest earthquake and
how people deal with the situation.

Nepal.
And Iam here in Nepal is reporting the situation inside the evacuation tent which is a
place to live temporarily due to the earthquake that hits Nepal two days ago. And
today I would like to interview that one of the victims of the disaster that occurred in
Nepal today.
REPORTER: excuse me mam, may I to interview for a
Rianti : yes of course

REPORTER: when was the earthquake disaster happened?

Rianti: This earthquake occurred on Wednesday about 11:56 when im go to the my

granpa’s house.

REPORTER: what was the feeling or condition at the time of the earthquake?

Rianti: I felt certainly very confused, scared and worried because at that time I was in

the car to go to my grandfather's house.


REPORTER: Do you know what the reason why an earthquake can occur?

Rianti: I am not sure why an earthquake suddenly happened because at that time the

situation was very panic and people were trying to save themselves.

REPORTER: Are the informations about the missing from the victims of this

earthquake?

Rianti: for missing victims is not yet counted.

REPORTER: And after the earthquake occurred whether there was physical trauma or

mental trauma?

Rianti: if for physical I suffered minor injuries on the hands and feet due to the rubble

of the building. And for mental trauma I just felt a little scared and felt scared with a

loud voice.

REPORTER: and how your surroundings or what happened when an earthquake

occurred?

Rianti: at the time of the earthquake I was in the car and went straight out into the

road and many people came running to escape and there were some buildings badly

damaged.

REPORTER: When evacuating, what needs do you get while you evacuate?

Rianti: some food, medicine blankets, clothes and tents.

REPORTER: during the evacuation are there residents who continue their livelihoods

or do other work?

Rianti: Ummm, maybe during the refuge there were some residents who helped and

some were still living in the refugee camps.
