OBJECTIVE(S)
Content- Interpret historical documents by making complex inferences and connections to the texts.
Language -Complete a KWL chart to track learning.
Social -Work in small groups and participate in a gallery walk.

OPENING/HOOK (10 min.)


● Bellwork- KWL
○ Students will complete the “What I Know” and “What I Want to Know” section of the
KWL chart.
● Class Discussion
○ Then, popsicle sticks will be chosen to share out what they wrote to be added to a
class KWL chart on the board.
GUIDED PRACTICE (30 min.)
● Holocaust Stations
○ Students will view and discuss the materials at each station with their groups.
○ Then, they will answer two of the questions for each station in their notebook using
ACE..

CLOSURE (5 min.)
● KWL Chart
○ Students will revisit their KWL chart and complete the “What I Learned” section.
