requirement of 7.0 % and therefore does not meet the requirement of IS:
12207-2008. This should be looked into for necessary corrective action.
iii) The maximum equivalent crankshaft torque was observed as 73.2 Nm
against the declaration of 88 Nm and therefore, does not meet the
requirement of IS: 12207-2008 with regard to tolerance. This should be
looked into for necessary corrective action.
17.7.1 The following literature has been submitted by the manufacturer for reference during
the test.
a) Operator’s manual for Mahindra DI Tractors.
b) Part’s catalogue for Mahindra DI Tractors.
c) Service manual for Mahindra tractors.
17.7.2 The operator’s manual supplied with the tractor has following discrepancies with
regard to specifications of the tractor.
a) The engine oil change period has been specified as “after every 250 hours of
operation” vide specification sheet. Whereas, the same has been specified as
“first change after 250 hours and thereafter every 300 hours of operation” vide
P.No.85 of the operator’s manual.
b) The transmission lubricating oil change period has been specified as “after
every 1000 hours of operation” vide specification sheet. Whereas, the same
has been specified as “first change after 1000 hours and thereafter every 1200
hours of operation” vide P.No.85 of the operator’s manual.
17.7.3 These literatures may also be brought out in national as well as other regional
languages for the guidance of the users.
