Suntech Warranty Claim Form

PROCEDURE

1. Installer completes thorough fault diagnosis of PV System. Refer to Suntech PV Module Troubleshooting Guidelines.

2. Installer contacts Suntech on 02 8188 2450, on site with suspected faulty module on hand to provide details. Either the Installer or
Suntech will complete Page 2 of this form.

3. Suntech issue a Warranty Case #, and can in most cases determine the validity of the claim over the phone1.
 For valid claims that are covered by Suntech’s warranty, Suntech will typically authorise a warranty replacement. The Installer can
obtain a replacement module (same footprint with equal or higher power) from their local Distributor by presenting the Warranty
Case # to the Distributor2.
 For potentially valid claims, Suntech will instruct the Installer to return the suspected faulty module to Suntech R&D Australia3 for
further testing (transport arranged with Suntech). If the claim is valid, Suntech will issue authorise the Distributor to provide a
replacement module.

4. Suntech send the Warranty Claim Form and Warranty Resolution Agreement for the Installer to complete, sign and return.

5. Suntech will pay for transportation costs for any modules requested to be returned to Suntech for further testing. For all valid claims
Suntech will additionally reimburse the Installer a fixed labour cost4 upon receipt of the completed warranty forms and an invoice 5.
