As far as hotel is concerned hotel can be divided into 2 main categories:

·1 Back of the house
“front of the house” is that area which is visible to the guests. “Back of the house” is
where all those services are available which the guests cannot see but whose efficient
working comforts the guests.

Front of the House:

Starting from the front of the house areas we look at the details of the guest room floors
5 star (luxury) The first class hotels are:

Reception opened 24 hours, multilingual staff


Doorman-service or valet parking
Concierge, page boy
Spacious reception hall with several seats and beverage service
Personalized greeting for each guest with fresh flowers or a present in the room
Minibar and food and beverage offer via room service during 24 hours
Personal care products in flacons
Internet-PC in the room
Safe in the room
Ironing service (return within 1 hour), shoe polish service
Turndown service in the evening

required for coffee seating.

·97 The bar and cocktail lounge area is allotted about 7.5sft per guest room.

The accounting office area requires minimum 150sft.

Linen room is usually from 2 to 4.5sft per guest room.

The laundry area is usually allotted 7sft per guest room.

The men’s toilets and locker room in the employee’s area is allotted 2.4sft per
guest room.

The women’s toilets and locker is also remaining the same as men’s toilets.

35% for toilets and 65% for lockers.

Maintenance Shop:

Maintenance shops are necessary to keep the hotel running.
