skip counting exercises for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10..

Start discussing the Least Common Multiple

Example 1: Find the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 5 and 10

Step 1. List the multiple of all the given numbers

Multiple of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40..

Multiple of 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 70, 80..

Step 2. Identify the common multiples of all the given numbers

Multiple of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40..

Multiple of 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 70, 80..

Step 3. Write the Least Common Multiple of the given numbers

Common Multiple of 5 and 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40..

LCM= 10 (The smallest number of common multiple)

same time?

3. Boxes that are 12 inches tall are being pilled next to boxes that are 10

inches tall. What is the least height in feet at which the two piles will be the same

4. One Radio station plays “Yesterday” by Carpenters once every 2 days.

The other radio station plays the same song once every 3 days. When will the both

radio station plays the same song?

5. Mrs. Carpio buys mango every four days. She also buys coconut every

mangoes and coconut at the same time?
