SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON MULTI-FACTORED ASSESSMENT TOOL (MFAT)

To: Public Schools District Supervisors

Elementary and Secondary School Heads
All Others Concerned

1. This Office announces the conduct of the Seminar-Workshop on Multi-Factored

Assessment Tool on November 13-15, 2019, at Bobulon Elementary School, San Felipe,
Zambales.

2. This activity aims to identify learners with Special Educational Needs (LSENs), who may
need education services and/or medical/allied services, and assist teachers in planning
and designing instructions appropriate for LSENs.

3. The participants in this training are Grade 1 Master Teachers, Early Language, Literacy
cind Numeracy (ELLN) trained Teachers, Best Reading Teachers, Special Education
Teachers and Receiving Teachers.

4. Travel expenses of the participants shall be charged against School MO0E/local funds,
subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations while meals and
snacks shall be charged against Trust fund.

5. Enclosed are the number of participants per district, Division MFAT Assessors and the
training matrix.

6. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
