Narrative Report

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 28, s. 2018, OK sa DepEd shall focus on


DepEd’s major school health and nutrition programs specifically the School-
Based Feeding Program (SBFP), National Drug Education Program (NDEP),
Adolescent Reproductive Health Education (ARH), Water, Sanitation, and
Hygiene (WASH) in Schools (WinS), and Medical, Dental, and Nursing Services.

In relation to this, Dampalit Integrated school conducted the different activities


related to five (5) major health and nutrition programs of school in celebration
of Ok sa Deped or Oplan Kalusugan sa Deped Launching.

A Kick Off program was held on July 12, 2019. Students from Kinder to Grade
10 parade within the barangay Dampalit wearing their creative Nutri Costume.
Students with the most creative and theme related costume were awarded and
recognized on stage.

Poster and slogan making contest was held on July 15, 2019. Selected Grade
3, Grade 4 and Grade 7to Grade 10 pupils participated in this activity.

Cooking contest for Elementary and Secondary was held on July 19, 2019.
Each participant showed creativity in their recipe and choice of ingredients.
During the interview, Judges were amazed to the nutritional trivia that each
participating group have shared in showcasing their innovative and nutritious
recipes.

Search for A1 Model Child was held on July 20, 2019. Participants of this event
are Kinder to Grade 2 Pupils. These students showed their talents and wits on
a question and answer portion of the contest. The most healthy and smart
children were awarded as A1 Model Child of the year.

Zumba Dance contest was held July 26, 2019.Selected students from Grade 7
to Grade 10 participated in the event. The most energetic and active zumba
dance steps were awarded and recognized. Students were very much engage
and participative in this activity. Their enjoyment and support of all students
in the event is attained.

In conclusion, the Implementation of Ok sa Deped Program becomes


meaningful to the students because of their active participation in the various
activities of the event. In addition, the unending support of the school head,
program coordinators, class adviser, club adviser, teachers, parents and other
stakeholders, contributes to the success of the event.
