Describe your travel experiences:

Throughout my life I have traveled to New Mexico, California, Oregon, Nevada, and Montana.
The summer of 2019 I went to Oregon with my family, and it has become one of my new favorite
places. I loved the beauty that was there, the gloomy ocean that was also vibrant. I think my
favorite part from Oregon was when I went to a farmers market one Friday. We talked to the
locals about how they had this market every week and would close shop at 1 because the wind
started to pick up then. One man we talked to has been advertising his coffee at this market for
years and he loved it. I loved hearing about places the locals liked going. Besides Oregon, New
Mexico is an amazing place to visit. My grandparents live in Las Cruces on an 11 acre alfalfa
farm. My grandparents are very hardworking and love the work they do. My grandma is a very
talented cook, and I love cooking tamales with her. One other place I liked to visit in New
Mexico is the Old Mesilla Village. It is such a unique place and the church that is right in the
center of the village is beautiful, decorated with art. I love to travel and I hope that I can do more
of it when I am older.

Describe something special or unique about you that could be mentioned in the letter and
explain:

One thing that I am proud of is that I am good at debating and convincing people to take my
side in an argument. Just the other day in my communications class my group was given a task.
We were a board of people that had one million dollars to hand out to one of the 10 applicants
that applied for the money. There was one boy in particular that caught my eye and I wanted
him to receive the money. After some logical arguments I was able to change the minds of the
other three group members.
Something that I think is unique about me is that I am a very hard worker. I love to get my things
done, especially my schoolwork. This whole school year I have only turned in 3 things late. I am
very proud of that accomplishment, I love to work hard with all my schoolwork. In my college
class I got a 91% on exam 2 when the class average was a C+, I have worked hard for my
grades and will continue to work hard to finish this year off strong.

Discuss your personal and professional goals:

One of my personal goals is to get back into dance. I recently had a major surgery done on my
left hip. I am working hard to get my hip back to being able to dance. I plan on graduating from
my dance studio, but to do so I have to be able to dance in the end of year recital. It has been
hard to deal with not being able to do everything I used to do not too long ago, so with this goal I
will be able to get back to my regular movement.
One of my professional goals is to graduate with my associates degree. I am working hard
everyday so that I can accomplish this goal. All my classes give college credit so I am applying
myself, hoping everything goes to plan.

Date this recommendation is needed:

As soon as possible. I am planning on using this for the University of Utah, and their application
deadline is Nov 1. I know I started this late so I don’t mind if it is too much to ask.
