Letter of Recommendation

To whom it may concern:

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Michelle Anton. Michelle worked for ISU
Dining for one year and I had the privilege of being one of her supervisors. She started here as a
student worker and continued to work with increasing skills. While Michelle worked with us, I
interreacted with her frequently and depended greatly on her. She was always there to take that
extra step and help any way she could.
Very much a team player, Michelle was a very kind coworker. She was easy going and a joy to
be around, while also being very devoted to her work. Early on, Michelle demonstrated she knew
how to work hard and communicate well with not only staff but customers. She cared a lot about
each person she worked with and cared for the service she was giving to each customer she
interacted with. Michelle was well organized and self-motivated. I never had a doubt if I left her
in charge, I could come back and things would be going smoothly.
We were all sad to hear she would not be returning to work with us. I wanted to make it clear as
to why she is available for hire. Michelle was wanting to explore her opportunities and grow
more in her passions. We would have loved to see her stay, but we understood her need to grow
and see beyond the positions we had available at the time.
I would highly recommend Michelle Anton for the position of ____. I feel confident she would
be a great asset to your team.
