I. Learning Objectives:

With the utilization of various teaching materials, the students, with at least
80% accuracy are able to:

a) identify the name and order of planets in the solar system,


b) determine the position of the planets from the sun; and
c) will able to draw the solar system.

What is Solar System? The Solar System is the gravitationally bound


planetary system of the Sun and the objects
that orbit it, either directly or indirectly.

Then what are the planets of the Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,
Solar System? Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto

C. Enhancement .

This time I’m going to discuss the


position of planets in the solar
system.

Now, let us play a game. Our


game for today is called “Label it”.
Each group will identify the name
and proper order of planets in solar
system.

1. Each group is going to


choose one representative to
participate in the rock-paper-
scissors game to determine -
which group takes its turn
first.

2. The winning group takes its


turn first.
The group will choose one
representative to label the
planets by its name and
order.
IV. Evaluation:

Draw the Solar System.

Improve your drawing and color it.
