Phase 1: Listen to the video Phone Invasion and answer the questions.

More people now use a mobile phone device for online devices than they do a
computer. The number of unique mobile phone users lost 5,000 million at the end of
2017, which represents a penetration rate of 66%, although the number of SIM cards
used by people (excluding those using machines with each other) rose to 7,800 million ,
103% of the inhabitants of the planet, thus surpassing for the first time the world
population (7.6 billion people). Colombians will use the cell phone on average four hours
a day and about 3.4 hours of their daily time to navigate. Change something about how
you use your smartphone after hearing this information? The main thing that would
change would be that it would reduce the phone a bit, and share more with families.

Phase 2: Write in the forum 8 recommendations about how to use smartphones
correctly in your office or in your home.

Recommendations:

 Establish a solid foundation. Talk about the responsible use of technology, be

receptive and learn how to use your phones to talk with your friends and recover
that you are available to help make smart decisions.
 Stay updated. Applications that are considered popular change often and
teenagers may find themselves in situations they have not anticipated when they
are given their first phone, so make sure you always have an open
communication channel.
 It is recommended to delay the delivery of the first cell as much as possible.
There is no exact formula, but I can avoid avoiding the first cell cycle before the
age of 12, taking into account the degree of responsibility, maturity and academic
performance.
 If the child or young person uses the cell phone as an alarm clock, replace the
cell phone with an alarm clock. So you can take the cell phone from your room
 It is key to agree a maximum number of hours of play in front of the screens
(weekly). At the end of the week, if the agreement is fulfilled, it can be rewarded.
The Hold app does something similar: through it, students earn 10 points for
every 20 minutes they don't use the cell phone
 At home you can establish periods of time or activities that do not include cell
phone use. For example, time to eat
 Turning off and sleeping helps your children set their own limits with rules of use,
including the time at which they should turn off their devices at night.
 New technologies and new products can offer your children the opportunity to
explore and grow. Staying informed can help your children do it safely.
