Небольшое вступление =)
I do not insist on crediting me by all means when you publish the photos or sell ready-made
toys (though if you do credit, that would be very nice)
Just please do not copy or distribute the pattern, it is intended for the personal use only.
I would be glad to see the final result – just tag your Instagram photo with @goozell_toys or
write me in ETSY.
You need:
- plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120 mt or 3,53 oz/131
yrds):
* yellow 80313 – 1.5 skeins;
* brown 80337 (for tail and stripes) - quite a bit;
* black 80311 (for ears) – quite a bit.
- 4 mm hook / US size F (*see the note below);
- any thin red yarn and a hook of the appropriate size (for cheeks) (I use acryl yarn 50 g/200
mt or 1.76 oz/218 yrds and 2mm hook).
- 20 mm safety black eyes (link to AliExpress - http://ali.pub/32mz63);
- 11 mm plastic nose (link to AliExpress - http://ali.pub/32mzya) – if you do not have a nose,
you can embroider the nose with black yarn;
- fine black yarn for embroidery fingers and smiles;
- strong yellow thread or yarn for tightening of the muzzle;
- 36” metal wire for tail frame;
- fiberfiller;
- scissors;
- stitch markers, needles or pins for fixing parts when sewing (desirable);

TAIL:

Crochet a second tail part the same, but don't cut the yarn.
Attach each other 2 parts of the tail – the first part is at the bottom and the second part is at
the top. Crochet through 2 layers as shown in the picture below, while taking into account the
following conditions.:
* on the outer corners of the crochet in the corner loop combination – 1 sc, 1hdc, 1 sc (to
sharpen the angle).
* change yarn to yarn of the appropriate color at the transition points;
* hide the yarn tails during the crochet process.

Round 11: 11 sc, 4 inc, 2 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc, 2 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc, 4 inc, 11 sc (54)
Round 12-13: 54 sc (54) – 2 rounds
Round 14: (7 sc, 1 dec)*6 times (48)
Round 15: (6 sc, 1 dec)*6 times (42)

Find the middle of the nape and crochet up to him a few more sc (I made 2 sc). This will be the
new end of the round.
Stuff the head in the process of crochet (pay special attention to filling the cheeks).
Find the middle of the back and crochet up to him a few more sc (I made 1 sc). This will be the
new end of the round.
before after after
tightening
Stuff the head and base of the neck completely and tighten the head as shown in the video
https://youtu.be/qIxUieuedfI
(The arrows in the photo indicate the points of tightening)
Next in the process of crocheting, we will change the color of the yarn using the first method
from the video - https://youtu.be/69U6dLVnBOQ.
For convenience, I will denote the place of yarn change with the phrase “CHANGE ON ....
(color)”, which will mean that when crocheting the last stitch before this phrase you have to
change the yarn - that is, during the second grab of the yarn with a hook, pick up the yarn of
the new color
Continue to crochet:
Round 39: {5 sc, (1 sc, 1 dec)*3 times, 3 sc}*repeat 2 times (28)
Round 40: (5 sc, 3 dec, 3 sc)*2 times (22)
Round 41: 6 sc, sc3tog, 8 sc, sc3tog, 2 sc (18) + 1 slst in next stitch
* sc3tog – insert hook into 1st sc, draw up loop, insert hook into 2nd sc, draw up loop, insert
hook into 3rd sc, draw up loop, yarn over and pull hook through all loops.
Fasten off, leaving 15” yarn tail. Stuff the body completely, Fold the bottom of body and sew
with a needle, hide yarn end inside the body.

Fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing (about 12”).
Embroider 3 strips of black yarn on the handle to divide the palm into fingers (watch video -
https://youtu.be/Tccw0v3LBFI)
Begin with yellow yarn with 2 ch. (you can begin with a
magic ring but please bear in mind that is is difficult to
tighten a plush magic circle)
Round 1: 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook (or in magic ring) (6)
Round 2: (1 sc, 1 inc)*3 times (9)
Round 3-8: 9 sc (9) – 6 rounds
Stuff the leg quite a bit.
Round 9: (1 sc, 1 dec)*3 times (6) + 1 slst in next stitch
Embroider 2 long strips on the feet with a thin black yarn, that is, divide the foot into fingers.
Pull the yarn tight when embroidering to make the yarn "drown" in the foot.
