Sub.:labourContract for Construction of Boundary wall at Madukkarai – Rakindo kovai Hills ltd
With reference to the above captioned works, we, RAKINDO Developers Pvt Ltd. (hereinafter referred
to as “RAKINDO”), are pleased to place with P.Ammanulla, (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”),
our Work Order for the above Works, subject to following terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions governing this Work Order shall be as follows:
1) Scope of Work
Contractor shall carryout the below mentioned work as per the full satisfaction of RAKINDO.
The contractor shall carryout the Plumbing works for the academy building as detailed Tabular
column of in the clause 4.1 on a piece rate labour basic.
2) Authorisations, Trade Licenses and Permits
Contractor shall have the requisite trade license and/or authorization for carrying out subject
services, and shall indemnify RAKINDO from any liens or claims as a result of any non-
compliance in this regard.
Contractor shall be responsible for safety of its workmen, equipment and adjacent properties
whilst carrying out the said Scope of Works.
3) Warranty
Contractor shall warrant that the works shall be carried out to the entire satisfaction of
RAKINDO. Further, Contractor warrants that the materials supplied and Works performed shall
be free from any defects for a period of 6 months from the date of completion of the Works.
During this period, any remedial works required due to defective material and/or workmanship
furnished by Contractor shall be immediately rectified(within 24 hours of notice) free of any
charges by Contractor.
4) Basis / Validity of Unit Rates
4.1 As complete and full compensation for carrying out by the Scope of Works by
Contractor, RAKINDO will pay Contractor only for the actual quantity of Work
completed and accepted by RAKINDO, based on the firm and fixed Unit Rates
indicated below. However, based on tentative quantities and corresponding Unit Rates
mentioned below,

4.2 The Unit Prices indicated above shall not be subject to any change due to any
increase of decrease in quantities, and the rates shall not be subject to any changes.
5) Terms of Payment
5.1 Payment will be based on the progress at site and the contractor shall submit the
invoices every 15days.
6) Consequential Damages
Neither party shall be responsible to the other for any indirect or consequential loss or
damages, howsoever arising during the execution of the Works.
Please sign and return one original of this Work Order to us, signifying your acceptance and
understanding of the above terms and conditions.
