YOUTH SPEAK FORUM KEYNOTE & PANEL SESSION
“Partnership with the Goals through Digitalization”

A. General Description
1. About AIESEC
AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their
leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run
by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are
interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on
the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / social origin.
We are a global network of young leaders under the age of 30 who strive to better
themselves and the communities around them. We are providing leadership development
through membership program, volunteering abroad program, and internship abroad
program. The organization spans 128 countries and territories and every aspect of
AIESEC’s operations are managed by students and recent graduates. AIESEC in
Indonesia is established on 194 and until now we are already expanded to 24 cities and 36
universities.
2. Indonesia Youth Speak Forum and Summit
Youth Speak is a global youth movement and youth insight survey powered by
AIESEC. We are focused on understanding the hopes and challenges that are faced by
young people nowadays. Years ago, we gathered surveys form 7.400 young people all
over Indonesia. Our Youth Speak Forums and Summit this year are based on the survey
result about what Indonesian millennial need and care about. Our Youth Speak Forums
and Summit have 3 objectives:
a. Inspire young people through inspirational speakers, who are not only have high
position but also contribute to society

b. Engage them through workshop, where they are being challenged to make project
and help companies solve their obstacles
c. Giving a chance for young people to Act for their ideas, where in each forum we will
encourage them to join our Youthspeak Competition
3. Theme: “Partnership with the Goals through Digitalization”
Focusing on supporting SDG’s No.17 “Partnership for the Goals” Enhance the
global partnership for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholder
partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial
resources, to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals in all
countries, in particular developing countries.
B. Keynote and Panel Session
1. Purpose
 Inspire youth about action towards achieving SDGs
 Sharing experience from top leaders
 Motivate youth to contribute to their city
2. Speaker Profile
 Keynote & Panel Speakers will come from : Private Sector, Public Sector,
AIESECer, and Local Change Maker
 Has concern or has experience in solving Poverty, Quality of Education, and
Economic Growth in Indonesia by “Partnership with the Goals through
Digitalization”
 Contribute to support Sustainable Development Goals
 Has experience working with or become speakers in front of young people
3. Additional Information
 Each Keynote Speaker will have 20- 30 minutes time to talk
 Keynote session will not provide question and answer session
 Keynote speakers will also participate in the panel discussion, where four
speakers will discuss about the theme

 Moderator will facilitate the questions from delegates and also provide
triggering questions
 Keynotes have to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before, and stay until
the end of Panel Discussion.
 Speakers are allowed to speak in Bahasa or English, although we encourage to
use English
C. Topic
“Empower Youth to Contribute in Positive & Productive Digital Native
Environment in Yogyakarta”, we believe that digitalization era will bring us to the next
level of Global life style but also we face many problems in social, education, economic
and society mostly in developing country. We want to empower Youth to unleash their
potential, to face the Global Challenge in digitalization era.
