 WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUMLANG LAKE?

Sumlang Lake, which takes its name from the barangay where it is located, Have a very

scenic view of a freshwater lake and the unfailingly majestic Mayon Volcano. For a

minimal entrance fee of 20 pesos, you can enjoy a very tranquil spot where you could

take friends to have picnic, stroll, or even hire a raft ride around the lake.

When you’re breathing the fresh air and feasting your eyes over the lush surroundings,

you can feed yourself at the Soccorro Restaurant right within the mini park. Interestingly,

the lake is also a favorite location for photo shoots for weddings, pageants, and what not.

One of Albay’s newest attractions, guests can have a relaxing ride in this 9-hectare swamp

in an on a bamboo raft jazzed up with exquisite abaca furniture. It is best done towards

sunset where the rafts can be framed in a snapshot with the picturesque Mayon in the

background

Best of all, you’ll surely have a handful of awe-inspiring photos with the most beautiful

photobomber of all – Mayon Volcano.

A small place to get a good view of Mayon. It is well maintained park with only PHP 20.00

entrance fee for adults and PHP 10.00 for students. It is a good place for family who wants

to do something different rather than going to the noisy and crowded malls. This is a 'must

see' when visiting Albay. The bamboo raft cruise if leisurely affair with the friendly locals.

The place is quite good, if you have heavy work for the week, then this is the right place

to enjoy your weekend.

HOW TO GET THERE IN MAYON SKYLINE?

Going to municipality of Camalig, Albay, there are a lot of options

on how to get there at Sumlang Lake. Below are the following options on

ow depending on the location you’ve come from:

1. IF YOU ARE IN METRO MANILA

 By Air

Buying plane tickets in order to reach Legazpi, Albay is

the best option in order to save time and and least hassle to

get through to Sumlang Lake. Upon arrival on the Legazpi

Airport, take a taxi or a pedicab that’ll take you to Legazpi

Grand Terminal at the terminal, take a jeep going to Camalig.

The fare for jeepney cost only Php 15.00 if you’re a student or
 senior citizen, for a regular passenger the fare is Php 20.00. the

driver will drop you

in the exact said

place. There youll

see tricycles that

offers you a ride in

getting into the

proper place.

 By Land

If you choose to

travel by land , you

can take the bus

going to bicol that

Is present in your

place. Or if you a

private vehicle

much better for you to travel. And you could reach the place much easier.

2. IF YOU ARE ONLY IN BICOL REGION

The mode of transportation that is convenient to take is by taking a

jeepney same direction to follow stated above.
