Introduction is making something known for the first time, or formally telling two people who the
other person is.

Introducing Self
When we want to introduce ourselves to others, then the following are expressions / expressions
that are commonly used:

 I want to introduce myself

Example:

Good morning friends. Let me introduce myself. My name is Muhammad Fayyadh Shidqi. You can

Good morning all, allow me to introduce myself in. My name is Faiz Rizqi Aji. I was born in Bandung
on 26 July 1993. I now live in Garut. Right now I stayed at my aunt’s house. Now allow me to introduce
myself further. I like things that smell of adventurous, and small things like reading, watching, and
spent my free time by doing nothing. Okay now about me and my family, I am the first child in my
family. I have a little sister, and she is high school student. My father is a Police which is named Endang
Kurnia. While my mother is a housewife.I love my family more than anything. Well that’s my
introduction this time. Pleased to meet you.

How do you do is used for the first time you meet. Then you can use How are you to ask how you are
doing.

When we ask for permission to use something that someone else agrees on, we must do our best to
ask for courtesy so that someone allows us to use his possessions. In English it is recommended to

Asking for Permission :

The following are words that are often used to ask permission and sample sentences.
Here are some expressions that you can use to ask permission more politely. Usually used for people
you just know or people who are older.

that is when you give permission to other people to do something.

Action Verbs

An action verb is a verb that expresses physical or mental action. The action verb tells us what the
subject of our clause or sentence is doing-physically or mentally.

Examples of Action Verbs:

To find an action verb:

1) Find the word in the sentence that is something someone or something can do.

2) Remember that the action can be physical or mental.

Examples of action verbs: skip smell love think

Examples of action verbs in a sentence:

 Marie walked to school.

Walked tells us what Marie was doing.

 Louis thought about the math problem.

Thought tells us what Louis was doing (mentally).

Below are some more examples of sentences that contain action verbs.

We use modals to show if we believe something is certain, possible or impossible:

My keys must be in the car.

It might rain tomorrow.

That can't be Peter's coat. It's too small.

We also use them to do things like talk about ability, ask permission, and make requests and offers:

Could I have some tea, please?
