TYPES OF GLASSWARE AND THEIR USES

Shot Glass- a shot glass is a small glass originally designed


to hold or measure spirits liquor which is either embibed
straight from a glass “ a shot” or poured into a cocktail “ a
drink”

Beer Mug – the glass has a tapered shape which which gives
a good head of foam , and the generous size helps the beers
aromas
Rock Glass – are an essentials glassware for any bar
restaurant.

Beer Goblet – german and other big sipping beers.


Champagne Flute – is a stem glass with either a tall tapered
conical shape or elongated slender bowl generally holding
about 6 to 10 US fl oz ( 180 to 300 ml) of liquid .
Pilsner Glass – Typically have a crisper , sharper taste than
most light beers.

Pint Glass – is a form of drinkware made to hold either a


british “ imperial” pint of 20 imperial fluid ounces (568ml) or
an American pint of 16 US fluid ounces.
