Introduction
The role of the bid adjudication committee is to evaluate bids in accordance with the
specifications as set out in the original tender document and to conduct such an evaluation as
stipulated in the Procurement Policy. A key consideration when evaluating a bidder`s tender
is to assess whether the bidder has the capacity and know-how to render the required service
efficiently or deliver the right product at the desired time. This is to ensure that suppliers who
enter the bidding stage are ones that are indeed qualified to respond to procurement
requirement.

The course is designed to fully equip delegates who are members of bid committee or involved
in the procurement process, with the necessary understanding, skills, tools and templates to
swiftly and effectively implement world-class tendered procurement strategies and processes
to ensure that the organisation is able to capitalise on the many opportunities available when
utilising a class leading approach to a well-structured and thought out, tender process. The
course provides the basis for being a a good customer by embracing a structure to the tendering
process that ensures engaging with a valuable supplier partner. Their role include preparation,
onward contract management, demonstration of key skills to drive through building and
managing their own tender process.
