DORIS DJ. ESTALILLA, Ed.D.

Assistant Schools Division Superintendent
Officer-In-Charge
Office of the Schools Division Superintendent
Schools Division of General Trias City

LETTER OF INTENT
----------------------
Dear Dr. Doris DJ. Estalilla:

Good day!

Life for me is a challenge. Challenge to inspire people to do more, to be

efficient with their crafts, to be heard when needed to be heard and to be able to
do what they think they could not do.

I have the social skills that one of my provincial board member classmates in
my master class, told me, is a gift. I belong here. At a young age, I aspire to be good
at my craft – being a leader. Having achieving my valedictorian status in high school
and persevering as a scholar in college, I too should develop my skills, so I taught in
college. I even started my own business to really feel what it feels like - being
independent. I teach youths to be lovable and have a commitment to serve the
Lord with our ministry (Maka-Diyos). I started an organization, recognized by the
Provincial Government of Cavite and the Department of Environment and Natural
Resources, to love nature (Makakalikasan) and to have empathy for one another -
especially the indigenous people that no one remembers (Maka-tao). I am
equipped to take part in the Human Resource unit as its Administrative Officer II to
be a servant to the people of the Philippines (Makabansa).

I intend to be part of a wider and firmer workforce to go hand-in-hand in

achieving the vision of our division office - to realize the competency and full
potential of everybody to contribute to nation-building. I would contribute greatly to
the unit and most certainly to the office as a nation builder. I see beyond the SG-11, I
see greatness. Lessons I learned during my college and college-instructor days
would really pay off. Things I currently learn in my classes in public administration that
would apply to the culture and competency of the entire organization - insights that
have never been heard before, discipline and development to the staff, the mindset
that will broaden their psychological and social well-being, to focus to nurture what
is an infant in our eyes, our new jobs. As our job is to protect and to promote the right
of every Filipino to basic education, we as administrators should ensure the
environment for effective learning to happen. Not just to our students and teachers,
but our staff and school heads as well. We could lead people to a certain goal of
greatness that they

would appreciate as they are with us. We will equip them with the skills and
competencies that reflect the excellence of the city and the department.

I miss the days when I contribute greatly to a team as one of the leaders - to
think beyond what is needed, to learn beyond what is taught and to know beyond
what is expected.

You may know me Dr. Doris DJ. Estalilla as the person who gave the whistle to
every staff here in our office. I really enjoyed the Gender and Development seminar
that I attended even I am just a substitute for our budget officer. I really learned a lot
and it would really mean to me if every staff would understand the importance of it.
So with my little gesture, I think I surprised everybody of my little gift, yet, it is for our
safety; safety that I learned from one seminar that impacted the minds of our
personnel by simply sharing a whistle and a note. I am really happy that I have given
something to every person in the office that ignited their sense of alertness. That is
just one of the things I have done and what more if I would become an officer. It
would be a great platform for me to exercise my skills and really hone the people
around me to do their best most of the time.

Dr. Doris DJ. Estalilla, I would be really happy if you consider my application
for the position. I would greatly fit the unit and as I tremble while typing this, I know
you would understand me because you are our leader. And we leaders, I being a
leader outside of work, would understand each other - the pressures, the chaos, and
the difficulties. All these things shall come to pass but what is worth is the time we
have with each other. I want to learn more about your leadership skills. I really
admire a person who really strives hard for greatness, who knows her role and do it
with commitment and who sees what is wrong and have the right thing to do to
make things better. It really inspires me.

Dr. Doris DJ. Estalilla, I thank you for taking the time to read my letter and I
hope that you see my intention to the position and have presented myself as
someone in a direction to do good.

Sincerely,

Paul N. Rendal
