INTRODUCTION

For decades, Global Citizenship is becoming more and more known to people around the
world. Ironically, although it seems new to us the concept of global citizenship started and first
arose among the Greek Cynics in early 4th Century BCE. There are many defining terms about
global citizenship. According to Reysen, S., & Katzarska-Miller, I. (n.d.), global citizenship is
defined as a responsible act showing care, and awareness online with embracing cultural
diversity and promoting sustainability and social justice. …

EXPLAIN THE AIM OF THIS PAPER OR ANYTHING RELATED TO THE TOPIC

This paper looks at the published articles stating the impacts and possible implications of
global citizenship to the alarming global issues that the world is facing. This is to have a better
view about the concept global citizenship. The impact of global citizenship is not well
documented for some counties thus many countries across the globe still has inadequate and/or
wrong perception about it. The paper describes the impact of global citizenship to global issues
by determining what are world issues that’s already been resolved, currently resolving and what
are the positive effect of it to diverse people all over the world.

METHODS

This research paper was a retrospective examination of different articles about the
impact of global citizenship to the global issues. Since this is a descriptive study, the
researchers peer-reviewed the acquired publications and articles to extract the data they
needed. The articles that the researchers used provided a clear and adequate information. For
each article found, the following information was captured; the global issues that global citizens
are solved, trying to solve (… ISIPIN KO PA) . All of these showcases impact on global issues,
may it be in…(NABLANKO AKO). The data was analyzed using the Archival Research Method
with the aid of unbiased review and analysis. This method is one of the most practical method
to used in a descriptive study especially if you cannot conduct a case study, longitudinal method
survey and/or cross-section method (Georgia State University, 2019).

RESULTS

A number of articles encompassing the study were found during the research. According
to McCarthy, J. (2019), global citizens worked on resolving issues in different parts of the world.
Global citizen secured the childhood nutritional funding in Zambia, cutting back hundreds of
malnourished children in that area. Global citizens also uplifted the investments for businesses
owned by women and they fight child marriage in Tanzania to be stopped. Health related
issues and awareness are also being promoted by global citizens (McCarthy, J. 2019). … (DATA

DISCUSSION

The analysis of the data reveals that there is a clear relationship found between the
increasing number of Global Citizens to the global issues. This can be seen in the number of
