DIET SCHEDULE FOR WEIGHT LOSS

the John Hopkins Research Center)

The following weight and health program is designed for a target weight loss of 10-15 lb.
per week. It also improves your attitude and emotions because of its systematic cleansing
effects.

This program was developed for the General Motors, in conjunction with a grant from the
US Deptt. Of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. It was field tested at the:
John Hopkins Research Center and was approved for distribution by the Board of
Directors, General Motors Corporation on August 15, 1985. General Motors Corporation
wholly endorses this program for its employees and their families, with the intention to
facilitate wellness and fitness for everyone.

they give to the body in calorie value. This plan can be used as often as you like without
any fear of complications. It is designed to flush your system of impurities and give you a
feeling of being fit-n-fine. You will have an abundance of energy and an improved health.
After seven days, you will begin to feel lighter because you will be lighter by at least 10 lb.

If you desire further weight loss, repeat the programme, as often as you like, with a gap of
three days between every repetition.

Vegetables may be eaten in the form of salad without any dressing, except vinegar,
squeezed lemon, garlic or herbs. Not more than one teaspoon of oil may be added.

You must drink 10 glasses of plain water each day. The other beverages you may consume
are: water flavored with lemon, club soda, Black tea! Black coffee. Only on day seven
fruit juice is allowed. You must abstain from all alcohol while on the programme.

Day One:
/ Day one you are prepar,ing your system for the upcoming programme. Fruits are nature's
/ perfect food, therefore, you should take only the fruits, except bananas. Fruits contain
everything you could possibly want to sustain life except total balance and variety. It is
strongly suggested that you eat a lot of melons, especially watermelons. There are chances
of loosing 3 lb on the first day itself.

Day Two:
Day two starts with a mix of complex carbohydrates coupled with an oil dose. You may
start the day with a large baked potato for breakfast, you may even top the potato with one
part of butter. This is taken in the morning for energy and balance. The diet for rest of the
day consists of vegetables, which are virtually calories free but provide essential nutrients
and fiber. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw or cooked
vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type.

Day Three:
The recommended diet is a mixture of vegetables and fruits of your choice, other than
bananas and potatoes. You can have them in any amount. Day three eliminates the potato
because you get your carbohydrates from the fruits. Your system is now prepared to start
burning excess pounds.

Day Foul':
Today you will eat as many as 8 bananas and drink three glasses of milk. You pr0bably
will not eat all the bananas allowed but they are there for the potassium you have lost and
the sodium you may have missed in the past three days. This should be combined with
vegetables and clear soup of your choice. You will notice a definite loss of desire for
sweets. You will be surprised how easy this day will go.

Day Five:
Today is feast day, you will eat dal, paneer and sprouted moong and 6 tomatoes. Try and
increase your water intake today. This is to cleanse your system of the uric acid you will
be producing. Lots and lots of water will purify your system. You should notice
colourless urine today. Sprouted moong and paneer are for iron and protein and the
tomatoes are for digestion and fiber. You must eat the six tomatoes.

Day Six:
Today you go back to vegetables and eat any amount of unlimited vegetables. By now,
your system is in a total weight loss inclination. There will be a noticeable difference in
the way you look today compared to day one.

Day Seven:
Today your food intake will consist of brown rice, fruit juices and all the vegetables you
care to consume. Tomorrow morning you will be 10-15 Ib lighter than a week ago,
