We introduce ourselves as Dalmia Cement, the 4th largest cement manufacturer in the
country. The Dalmia Group is a multidimensional business group and apart from cement
having ventures in diversified field like Sugar, Power, Refractories, Heavy Machinery to name
a few. Since our inception we had been like a benchmark in the cement industry for our best
quality cement. The Dalmia group had been among the Pioneers of cement Industry in
India and apart from the manufacturing of Ordinary Portland Cement, Portland Slag
Cement & Portland Pozzolana cement we are one of the very few cement manufacturers
who have also the expertise in the manufacturing of Super Speciality Cement used for Oil
well, Railway Sleepers, Air Strips etc.

Cement manufacturing is one of the major interest for the group. Dalmia cement is fully
equipped with the ultra-modern cement plants with a combined capacity of over 24
Million Tonnes per Annum & with our ongoing expansion projects it is expected to enhance
its production capacity to the tune of 30 Million Tonnes per Annum by 2018 & a
company with Pan India Presence.

We are the largest producer of Slag Cement in the country also we are one of the largest
volume player in the Eastern part of our country catering West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand,
Bihar & the north eastern states . In eastern market of the country we are having the
combined capacity of approx. 12 Million Tonnes per Annum & we manufacture cement with
the brand name of Dalmia & Konark, (Dalmia Cement East Limited- Formerly known as
Bokaro Jaypee Cement plant- 2.1 MTPA, Adhunik Cement Limited , Maghalaya – 1.5 MTPA,
Calcom Cement India Limited, Assam – 1.5 MTPA & OCL India Limited - 6.7 MTPA with plants
at Rajgangpur & Kapilas in Orissa, Bengal Cement Works near Kharagpur in West Bengal) .
Also we are having Plants in Tamilnadu ( Dalmiapuram & Ariyalur) , Andhra Pradesh
(Kadappa) & recently commissioned at Belgaum in Karnatka.

We have been integral part of building the nation since the last 75 Years, which also reflects
our experience & expertise in cement manufacturing but it’s the legendary vision of our
group that we have always relied & adopted for the latest technology & have remained in
the forefront of technological excellence, which is also reflected in our manufacturing
process today where all our plants are 100% automized plants where all the processes,
controls & checks are system driven. The system is so empowered that at each & every
stage of cement manufacturing stringent checks have been applied to meet the highest
degree of quality expectations.

Dalmia Cement is one of the very few Cement Manufacturers who produces wide range of
cement like Ordinary Portland Cement, Portland Pozzolana Cement(IS 1489-Part I),
Portland Slag Cement( IS 455), Oil Well Cement(IS 8229) , Sulphate Resisting Portland
Cement (IS 12330) confirming to highest quality standards in the industry far exceeding the
requirements of BIS.

Dalmia Cement has bagged several prizes & recently we have been recognized as the
fastest growing cement manufacturers in the country. We are also certified as ISO
9001:2008 for Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental
Management System & ISO 18001:2007 for Occupational Health & Safety Management
System.
