What are your insights after we have done our discussion and how are you going to apply your insights in understanding
your physical self?

MY REFLECTION

Understanding oneself better may lead to the acceptance of who you really are regardless of your
strengths and weaknesses. At the end of this discussion, I have fully understood what the topic is all
about. It is understanding yourself better in order for you to adjust to whatever the circumstances may
ask. If you know yourself thoroughly insecurity will not ponder for you know who you really are and
accept those differences.

SEXUAL SELF

What are your insights after we have done our discussion and how are you going to apply your insights in understanding
your sexual self?

MY REFLECTION

After the discussion, I was enlightened about the importance of knowing sexual self. It opened my mind
of the possibilities that will help me if I know my sexual self-better. I may gain self-confidence if I
understand it thoroughly. An example of which is dealing with relationship. I know how to manage my
emotions and it will help to deal with others as well. In addition, after knowing my sexual self, I already
developed my self-esteem and develop sense of purpose also.
MATERIAL SELF

1. Write your most treasured material possessions and explain the reasons why you consider them to be so.

a. Body Part
Maybe the most treasured body part in my body is my eyes. Having both of my hands can grasp all the possibilities
and embrace them.

b. Clothes

Uniform. It shows that I’m striving to achieve all my goals in life.

c. People

Family. First and foremost, they are my strength and the pillars of what I have today.

d. Other material possessions

Computer. Computer are my way to relieve me from stress and source of enjoyment, and it can change my mood.

particular object personally relevant or meaningful? Discuss your answer.

Bible. The Bible gives me the enlightenment in times when I’m feeling down. The word of GOD gives me the power
to push through all the challenges that I encountered.

What are your insights after we have done our discussion and how are you going to apply your insights in understanding
your political self?

MY REFLECTION

Politics affect my life because I’m under the law as a citizen of the Philippines. Following the bent rules of the Philippine
constitutions can greatly affect my understanding towards the abiding laws of the government.
SPIRITUAL SELF

1. Distinguish the difference between beliefs in spirits and belief in the Holy Spirit.

Spirits is the vital principle or animating force within all living things. While the Holy spirit is one of the important
and considered as the Giver of Life.

2. What is the relationship between religion and spirituality?

Religion and spirituality are the same because they have something in common, they worship and believe to
someone, or something.

3. Give at least two kinds of spiritual beliefs (animism) in the Philippines. What are the reasons for having those spiritual
beliefs?

Catholicism and Pre-colonial Spiritual Beliefs. Filipino Catholicism is practiced alongside and influenced by precolonial
indigenous religions and indigenous Filipino concepts that are found in other areas of Southeast Asia.

4. What are the functions of religion in developing the spiritual self?

In religion, you do not accept but you know. Anything that can be accepted can be rejected some other day. Religion
is not a thing of acceptance or rejection.
POLITICAL SELF

1. Enumerate at least five functions of the political self.


Foreign diplomacy, maintenance of domestic order, administration of justice, protection of civil liberties, provision for
and regulation of the conduct of periodic elections.

2. Explain the origins of the political self. Discuss how the family, school, church, peer groups, and media affect the
development of the political self.
The political self is that the conceptually discrete categories of inner and outer in reality constantly interact, shape
and inform each other’s.

3. Identify current political issues in the Philippines and recount the circumstances that led to the issues. As a citizen, what
can you do to prevent the issues from recurring?

Poverty and Corruption – all administrations have it.

4. Give at least three problems that ail the Philippine political system. Explain how these problems can affect your political
views and beliefs. Discuss your answers.
Corruption. The Philippine government is the most corrupted government. Inadequate politicians and broken
political will.

3. Explain why privacy and confidentiality matter in one’s life.


Privacy refers to the right of an individual to keep his or her health information private while confidentiality refers to the
duty of anyone entrusted with health information to keep that information private and cannot be tampered.
