Introduction

This project will be mainly on cells and be teaching you all

about it. This project will open your mind to know more
about cell, the different type of cells function on cells and
this project will have some interesting topic.

1
AcknowledgmenT

Firstly, I would mostly thank God for this opportunity to give

me the ability to do this project. Secondly, I would thank my
brother and parents for guiding me throughout the project.
Finally, I would like to thank my teacher for giving me this
project, so that I could be able to know more about cells.

2
What is cell?

The cell (from Latin cella, meaning "small room") is the basic
structural, functional, and biological unit of all known
organisms. A cell is the smallest unit of life. Cells are often
called the "building blocks of life". The study of cells is
called cell biology, cellular biology, or cytology.

\
Different types of cells

These are 11 most common cell

Stem Cells. Pluripotent stem cell. ...
 Bone Cells. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a freeze-
fractured osteocyte (purple) surrounded by bone (gray). ...
 Blood Cells. ...
 Muscle Cells. ...
 Fat Cells. ...
 Skin Cells. ...
 Nerve Cells. ...
 Endothelial Cells.
 Sex cells
 Pancreatic cells
 Cancer cells

4
The function and the
Parts of cells

cell wall surrounds the plant cell - gives it shape and protection
cell membrane a protective outer covering - regulates interaction between the
cell and its environment
cytoplasm a gel-like material inside the cell where most of the cell's life
processes take place
nuclear membrane allows certain substances to pass between the nucleus and the
rest of the cell
nucleus the control centre of the cell
chromosomes contains the code that controls the cell - transmits hereditary
characteristics
nucleolus the area of the nucleus where ribosomes are made
mitochondria releases energy from digested foods
chloroplasts manufactures food in the plant cell through photosynthesis
Golgi bodies packages and transmits cellular material throughout the cell
vacuole storage space for water, wastes, & other cellular material
endoplasmic place where materials are processed and moved around inside
reticulum the cell
ribosomes produces proteins within the cell
lysosomes contains digestive chemicals that help break down food
molecules
cytoskeleton helps the animal cell maintain its shape and move

5
Different between animal
And cells

As plants and animals are eukaryotic, so they have almost

similar cellular structure, but few organelles like chloroplast,
plasmodesmata, cell wall, plastids, etc. are only found in the
plant cell, while in there is no cell wall in the animal cell;
instead they have cilia, the tight junction for other functionality.
