WRITING

Retell in writing a dream you, or someone you know, can remember. Use between 120
and 180 words. In retelling this dream, try to answer the following questions:

What was the scene (when, where,

why)? What happened (why)?
How did it end?

If possible, try to offer an interpretation of this dream.

A woman whose father passed away a year ago, dreamt something very interesting. The scene
took place at his house, where she went to visit him. Although he died because of a disease, in
her dream, her father was healthy, and when she asked him how was he feeling, he answered
he is ok, and that he is waiting for a very good friend of his to come visit, and he was very
excited and told her that he even prepared something to drink and to eat for his friend. That is
how the dream ended.
You might say that this woman dreamt that way just because she was missing her father
which she truly loved, but there is more to it. How would you explain that a few days later
one of her father`s best friends past away, without even being sick?Well, maybe, Jung was
right?...
