GENERAL RULE

 Observe regular attendance and punctuality.

 Be in your classroom when the bell rings for the beginning of the class period.
 Maintain reasonable silence and order while waiting for your teacher.
 Occupy only the seat assigned to you. If you have any difficulty in seeing or
hearing from such a seat, request for reassignment at the beginning of the term
but reassignment will only be within the column or row.
 Keep the area clean and orderly all the time.
 If there must be group discussion or laughter, please avoid shouting.
 If you must leave the room for whatever cause or purpose, first raise your hand
and seek permission from your teacher.
 As much as possible, use the breaks between periods or your recess for
personal necessities.
 Bring bottled water so you do not have to be going out. Eating is not allowed
inside the room especially when class is going on.

RULES RELATED TO ACADEMIC WORK

 Use the English language most of the time.

 Mobile phones should not be seen nor heard during class sessions.
 All students are expected to be fully engaged in academic work and actively
participate in class activities, drills, board work, etc.
 In speaking in class, either to respond to questions in recitation or to ask
questions yourself, raise your hand first and wait to be acknowledged by your
teacher. Only then are you allowed to stand straight and speak slowly, loudly,
clearly in complete sentences. Other students are discouraged from distracting
or coaching the speaker by blurting out answers.
 Do only matters related to the ongoing subject, avoiding preparation for other
classes or unrelated to the current lesson.
 Complete your work inside the classroom; avoid submitting requirements
outside the classroom
 Students should pay full attention to the teacher’s instruction and/or to a
classmate’s recitation.
 In submitting homework, test papers, etc. students should remain seated only
passing their papers in the orderly manner directed by the teacher.
 Students observe examination rules for honesty and order during quizzes and
other tests.
