Apocalypto is an Action Thriller movie of 2016. It depicts the lives of human beings in
the Mayan Civilization. Starred by Rudy Youngblood as Jaguar Paw, Dalia Hernandez as Seven,
Raoul Trujillo as Zero Wolf, and Gerardo Tarecena as Middle Eye. I will give it a 10 star rating for
its great plot and great production.

A village set in Mayan forest lives happily and harmoniously. When terrified refugees
pass, the chief forbids the hunters to spread fear but the real cause soon follows. The village is
attacked by a group from another tribe, survivors cruelly enslaved and dragged away. Jaguar
Paw manages to hide his pregnant wife and son in a well. The men will be sacrifice to the gods
in the raider's kingdom. A solar eclipse save numbers of men to be a sacrifice but instead, they
are ordered to be killed as a target practice. Only Jaguar Paw manages to survive but he killed
the captain's son. An apocalyptic prophecy incarnate while danger looms unseen.

The costumes and makeup of the characters rally resembles the Mayan civilization,
every details are looked up to make them look like one. An example of this is the tatoos in the
characters are well make, even the clothings of the people are made to fit in the film.

The editing of this movies is great. The scenes are connected to each other though it is
set in different places. It features sets with buiding and some are computer generated images.

Overall, the movie is great.The plot, the scenes, the places are well made and it is edited
well. The movie has a good quality. I recommend this movie for those who haven't watch this
because you will know how hard life for those who live in the old civilization and dangerou it is.
People before eat fresh meat straight withot cooking unlike now and like in the movie, every
problems in live will have a solution if you strive hard for it to be soved.
