TWO

BROTHERS
Directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud

I. Introduction

“Two Brothers” is a sweet film that quickly turns sad but encouragingly ends

well. Two tiger cubs are separated at birth because of a band of ruin thieves in

the jungle. The sweet, innocent tigers grow up in sad environments which

change their lives and hearts for the worse. Separated for years, the two

brothers finally reunited—but this time in an arena where each tiger is expected

to battle the other to the death.

II. Body

Under the smiling face of a Buddha in a ruined temple in the jungles of

Cambodia, two tiger cubs are playing. They wrestle with each other, toy with

their mother's tail, and chase a coconut down a hill. However, every sibling has
a different strength and weaknesses like, Kumal is the stronger and more

aggressive of the two; Sangha is shy and unwilling to take risks. Their differing

natures are demonstrated in an encounter with an angry mother civet that is

protecting her little ones in a cave: In real life, a mother will always protect her

child from danger and hazard. She will do anything from her child to be safe.

She’s willing to take the risk for her children; she’s brave and willing to protect

to those bad people. Mothers love for her children is everlasting, long lasting

and unconditionally. In two brothers movie, `It seems that, it is very hard to

separate from parents, you will be learned how to be strong, independent and

brave. In this movie, I realize that sometimes humans are too selfish and

greedy, they used to abuse nature and also those wild animals living in nature.

Animals can live without human, human cannot live without animals. So, we

need to respect them. Being humans we should protect other species. Educate

and Safeguard the jungle life on humanitarian grounds. Tigers, all animals,

deserve our respect and protection. They need space to live free and natural

lives. I think that, it is the story of Cambodia in the past. They killed tigers and

other species to protect their lives. However, it is the story form the past, but

now we need to have a limitation from nature and other animals living there.

The two brothers made me realize, all animals and species have a feelings and

emotions. Even year passed that they separate each other; they still recognized

and realized that they are siblings and find each other in the end after taking

apart. I can see in their eyes that they loved and missed each other. After

recognized they run and escaped, but kumal back to his cage and feel scared

because of what happened in the past. Sangha his encouraged his brother to

escaped from the bad people. Literally realized today how hard it is for them
to lose their families. Hoping in coming time, we humans understand the

nature and won’t hurt it. The story made me feel sad and happy, because in

the end they meet their mother who protects them from the hunter. This movie

has a moral lesson to all humans, it is very sad but it is a great movie.

I. Conclusion

Two brothers made me realize that having a sibling is like having a savior a

warrior that will conquer battles with you, a soldier who will find a way to fight

for you he will be your strength, your refugee, the one that will serve as your

anchor when u feel like drowning and he'll be your sun, your source of light.

he'll be your euphony, will share the laughs with you. You will be each other's

anaphora. Repeating the succeeding memories of life together.
