We were able to discuss about the preparation of a recipe
using the signal words. This time we will discuss about
listening to important Details in Oral Instructions and
Directions.
Listening to announcement and or instructions..
Are you an attentive listener? Can you report the instructions
made during the flag ceremony or that of the teacher’s
instructions inside the classroom.
When listening to announcement s or instructions, remember
to observe the rules.
Here are the rules to observe :.
1. Pay individual attention to the announcement.
2. Note the important details that are answerable by
what, when,where,why, and how.
3.Think about the questions that others will ask about
the announcement and be able to answer these.
Listen to announcement that the teacher will make . Be ready
to discuss with your classmates and be able to answer them.
Form two groups. One will act as radio announcer or TV host.
The radio announcer or TV host will announce some event.
When listening to announcement or instructions, one has to
remember to announcement and instruction or direction.
