1. Describe how new technologies have led to the convergence of traditional and new
media?
The new technologies led to the convergence of traditional and new media
through combining the traditional and new media and upgrading it with the use of
new technologies because with the power of technologies it can create and
improve media platforms. Information is more accessible to people in a cheaper
way. Example of traditional media is the newspaper where people get latest
information before and because of the modern technologies there were many new
media that arises like google, or social media sites which can be accessed through
smartphones or android phones which are handy.

2. Explain how media convergence creates new opportunities for interaction.

Media convergence created more opportunities for people to interact with
each other through social networking sites and different mobile games or video
games. Media convergence made it easier also for people to communicate with
each other through the discovery of telecommunication system and internet
connections because it made it easier for people to send messages and receive
feedbacks at a fastest way. It is also easy for people to create a buy and sell sites
on social media without exerting efforts in window shopping just to get the items
they needed because with just one click on the apps like lazada and shopee they
can already get the items they wanted.
3. Describe the use of one or two forms of new media to share knowledge and
information on the current issue in society.
Because of the modern technologies particularly media, we are experiencing
the issues about child pornography and cyberbullying. Child pornography involves
children who was used to give pleasure by their parents in showing their body
parts on camera in return for money. While cyberbullying was created due to
attacking into someone harshly using painful words in social media just like
bashing or creating fake stories or news that may let the person feel emotional
stress.

4. Explain how a person could be portrayed in public in the age of media

convergence.
A person living in the age of media convergence is a techy person. He most
likely is using his gadgets like android phones, laptops, PCs or even home
appliances in his daily life. He is most likely depending his life in the information
or the benefits that he can get in using his technological gadgets or machines.
