1 Objective of the course At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to improve their speaking skill through
present tense and past tense.
2 Purpose of the test The aim of this speaking test is to assess and diagnose students’ strength and weaknesses of
speaking ability in college level.
3 Specific instructional The test is intended to measure students’ speaking skill in terms of present and past tense,

• grammatical features
• vocabulary in context

5 Definition of construct The students use their language ability a correct syntax in an organized way, cohesively and with
an appropriate register in order to accomplish the test purpose.

Goal: to improve the students’ speaking skills in English related to general information. These are aimed to enable the students to have
a more thorough and comprehensive knowledge about general information that can be found in everyday oral communication of
English to support their study.
