The RockWashTM sample washing

and preparation process is a
purpose design and built process
for the washing, cleaning and drying of muddy
cuttings from oil and gas exploration wells in
preparation for geological analysis.

The automated RockWashTM process is both

controlled and consistent, perfectly suitable for
all cuttings samples either newly drilled with oil
based mud, historic desiccated samples or even
diagenetically young or unconsolidated delicate
samples.
PhotoSTRATTM
High resolution digital images of cuttings

PROJECT 01
UzmaHPC provides solutions in the high performance computing
(HPC) sphere. Solutions include development, optimization and
testing of accelerated parallel CPU and GPU codes.

This will enable many folds code performance speed up enabling faster
technical and business decision to be made. UzmaHPC team works
closely with our client on marine seismic imaging solutions. This includes
Reverse Time Migration (RTM) and Full Waveform Inversion (FWI)
codes.

Reverse Time Migration (RTM) is an advanced migration method that

uses the 2 way wave equation thus improving imaging compared to
other one way migration techniques.

PROJECT 02
PETRONAS TECH Apps is an enhancement for PETRONAS proprietary
application and operation support for TECH Apps Store and TECH
Framework development. To date, there are about 145 downloads since
its launch with 14 apps available in its store. Users are able to have access
to a centralized platform across PETRONAS with 19 plugins and 37

Uzma Software Testing - a pragmatic method of
software development that takes a meticulous
approach to building a product by means of
continual testing and revision. ‘System-under-test’
or SUT, are tested thoroughly by an independent
test team to ensure that it meets the defined quality
metrics criteria and business requirements prior to
being deployed into the live environment.
PROJECT 04
Application Lifecycle Management - Consultation &
Implementation services include expert functional
and performance testing, innovative service
delivery models, and design, implementation, and
education for ALM software and solutions. Our HPE
ALM services will help our client to achieve better
visibility across their enterprise, reduce testing

UDRS Data Management System is a software platform that allows
people and systems across the organization to expose and extract
value through easy-to-use applications that use information residing
in multiple data sources, structured and unstructured, both inside and
outside the organization.

This system can create indicators and combine them into various
dashboards which will be an invaluable asset to data managers, asset
managers and G&G teams to perform further analysis.

This system can also be previewed on PDF, TIFF, SEGY, LAS and many
others file formats without downloading files. Uzma Data Management
System also integrates data from various sources, including Petrel,
Kingdom, Geoframe, LogDb and OpenWorks.

HYDRAULIC WORKOVER UNIT
Uzma-MMSVS Hydraulic
Workover Unit (HWU)
fleet is the largest in
Southeast Asia, with a track record of 500+ well
operations for clients across the region. Uzma HWU
include all models from lightweight 150,000 lbs
units through 225,000 lbs and 340,000 lbs medium-
duty, to heavy-duty 460,000 lbs units. Our HWU
are optimized for workover operations and have
unique operating features such as Martin Decker
“Weight on Bit” systems and high torque rotary
drives, making them cost effective for sidetracking
wells. Uzma HWU can also be supplied in either
Zone 2 specification, or in RigSafe specification at
lower cost, where operations permit this standard.

PLUG AND ABANDONMENT
Uzma Well Solutions has established an enviable
reputation for reliable and cost-effective Plug &
Abandonment (P&A) services, both offshore and
onshore. Uzma has successfully performed various
types of P&A operations in Thailand and Malaysia,
including a technically challenging leaking gas well,
abandonment of an 18 well offshore platform,
including reservoir abandonment and cutting/
pulling all of the conductors. P&A can be performed
by Uzma HWU for more demanding applications
with more extensive well preparation work
required, or by Uzma RMS which integrates all
of the equipment and personnel required within
one package, for easy contracting and project
management.
Full project management of the P&A operations
can be provided by Uzma, and challenging projects
are no obstacle.
Uzma planned, prepared all engineering and
delivered the Re-Abandonment of a leaking gas
well at Bulak Setap, onshore Sarawak, Malaysia
during 2016. The HWU was used to drill-out existing
cement plugs to 5,500 ft using a completely
enclosed and pressurized surface system and
with all gas flared-off. The well was successfully
re-abandoned so that a housing development could
be safely constructed nearby.
The Kapal platform wells offshore Peninsular
Malaysia also established a benchmark for low
cost well abandonment which included reservoir
isolation followed by P&A of the upper wellbore
in full compliance with PPGUA 3.0 standards. The
Uzma RMS package was used to deliver this project.

Uzma RMS is a multi-service package designed to
minimize footprint, weight, personnel and cost for
offshore well intervention operations.
Designed primarily to Plug & Abandon (P&A) wells
in preparation for decommissioning of offshore
production platforms, RMS offers exceptional value
to clients for well intervention, slot recovery and
related operations. A key advantage is that only
one service with single point contact is required to
deliver the final solution, rather than the traditional
process where multiple contracts have to be
awarded and managed. Within the RMS package,
all logging (CBL), tubing/casing punching,
plug-setting, cementing, tubing/casing cutting and
pulling of tubing and casing can all be performed.

operated Directional Drilling
Services with contracts
in Indonesia and Malaysia, and experience both
onshore and offshore, including deepwater
operations. Primarily focused on delivering low
cost solutions for development drilling programs,
however high end LWD and Rotary Steerable
Services can be delivered through collaboration
agreements. At any given time, Uzma Directional
Services Drilling Services are active on multiple rigs
across the region.
Uzma Directional Engineers plan the wells and
Directional Drillers deliver the well path in the
field to a standard regularly complimented by the
clients. Our Directional team is engaged with the

standard engineering analysis including Torque &

Uzma continues to expand our
range of oilfield services and
entered the Fishing Services
market in 2017.
Uzma was already responsible for providing and
managing Fishing Services during drilling related
project contracts and it was a natural development
to expand into providing the Fishing Tools for
all hole sections together with the provision of
experienced Fishing Service Engineers to supervise
fishing operations for clients. Together with the full
range of Fishing Tools, Uzma can also provide an
extensive range of Hole Openers, Roller Reamers

Uzma entered the Drill Bits market in Thailand
supporting partner and rapidly captured over
50% of the available market from the National Oil
Company due to the cost-effective pricing strategy

allows a bit to be refurbished at minimal cost and
be ready for re-run in effectively “new” condition
for later wells. The overall impact has been a

RTP currently looking at developing downhole RTP
pipe. AUSB offer Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe
(RTP) system with its innovative manufacturing
process to bond different polymers together and
reinforce them with aramid fibers and matrix to
create a spool-able RTP system. Our vision is to
be the market leader of High Density Polyethylene
Pipe “HDPE” pipeline in the region.
