PRACTICAL EXAM: Quantitative Research Framework

Students will apply their understanding of the fundamental


concepts in quantitative research as basis for analyzing a
social phenomenon. The learners will develop and
demonstrate their research skills in accomplishing a
framework of a research study plan so that they will be able

The following are the competencies that will be assessed:


 Identifying and focusing on the topic of interest
 Evaluating the research topic identified
 Identifying ethical concerns or issues
 Writing the different elements of a quantitative research
study
Re-teaching and re-assessment ideas:
Based on the test results of the three classes, there is no need for re-teaching/re-assessment since they all got a percentage of Mastery above 80% (12 ABM - 91.36%
/ 12 HUMSS - 88.86% / 12 STEM - 89.89%).
Results: How could we use the results? What will we do when students are not learning?
After a detailed examination of the students’ answers, there is still room for improvement when it comes to conceptualizing their ideas. The students must be able
to develop their skills in thoroughly discussing their research topics using supporting details, not just identifying the concepts. They should also have a clear
understanding of the different parts of their quantitative research paper (i.e., research question, objectives, significance, scope and limitation).
