Inservice Lesson Plan: Terrence

Learning Objective

In this Lesson students will learn the definition of bullying and what is
defined as bullying. Students will also learn what to do if they witness
someone getting bullied, as well as sign an anti bullying contract.
Anticipatory Set

The lesson will start with a warm up to get students attention and see what
they already know about bullying and if they have witnessed bullying take
place.
● 4th grade/ 5th grade

● Advanced curriculum

● 12- 18 students (1 classroom)

Materials
Warm Up
❖ The first 5 minutes- Class will start with a warm up. Students will
get journals out and write down what bullying is to them, or what
they see as bullying.
❖ Then the teacher or counselor will call on one or two students to
discuss their definition of bullying. 5 minutes
Procedure: Role Play 1, have two
students bully on another
student, timed for 3 minutes
Procedure: Role Play 2, have 1
student bully another, with
another student stepping in to
defend the bullied student, timed
for 3 minutes
Question and Answers about the
role plays and go over policy on
bullying 9 minutes
Wrap Up
Hand out bullying contract and paper showing

varying types of bullying.


Homework
Show types of bullying hand out and bullying
contract with parents, bring back contract signed.
