The use of mobile phones for students in schools should no longer be a prohibition, because now we are
in the modern era where all use technology. Mobile is one of the technologies that we use and has
many positive benefits and impacts apart from the negative impacts underneath.

if students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones to school worrying that there will be something
wrong with the child, they will find it difficult to contact their parents or family. And it is also easier for

knowledge. Especially now that the average used by students now, especially high schools, are

Penggunaan Hp bagi siswa di sekolah sepatutnya tidak lagi menjadi larangan, karena sekarang kita
berada di jaman modern di mana semua menggunakan teknologi. Hp merupakan salah satu teknologi
yang kita gunakan dan memiliki banyak manfaat dan dampak positid terlepas dari dampak negatif yang
di bawahnya.

Jika siswa dilarang membawa HP ke sekolah khawatirnya nanti ada sesuatu dengan si anak tersebut,
mereka akan kesulitan untuk menghubungi orang tua atau keluarga mereka. Dan juga orang tua lebih
mudah memantau anak-anak mereka kalau anak sekolah di ijinkan membawa HP ke sekolah.

Namun terlepas dari itu, dengan jaman modern sekarang, handphone adalah salah satu alat bantu bagi
para siswa untuk memperluas ilmu pengetahuan. Apalagi sekarang ini hampir rata-rata yang dipakai oleh
pelajar sekarang khususnya SMA adalah telepon pintar atau smartphone.

Dengan kecanggihan smartphone, para murid dapat belajar banyak melalui alat ini dan menambah
berbagai macam pengetahuan, baik pengetahuan tentang sekolah maupun pengetahuan teknologi bagi
diri para murid untuk kedepannya.

Namun selain itu alat ini juga dapat membuat anak menjadi malas dan tidak bermoral seperti bermain
game dan banyaknya situs pornografi yang dengan mudahnya dapat di akses.

Terlepas dari efek negatif dari adanya handphone bagi murid, dengan semakin mahirnya para pelajar
mengaplikasikan HP, mereka murid akan terbiasa untuk mengoperasikan alat-alat canggih lainnya seperti
laptop, ipad dan lainnya.

Apalagi di jaman teknologi canggih seperti sekarang alat-alat tersebut sangat diperlukan untuk
kedepannya bagi siswa tersebut agar siswa tersebut tidak Gagal Teknologi atau GAPTEK.

Seperti dikatakan Yani, seorang guru komputer di SMA Satria. Ia mengatakan HP adalah alat untuk
mengembangkan pengetahuan para siswa. Dengan adanya HP, siswa dapat menggali ilmu sebagai
pengganti buku pelajaran.
�Kebanyakan siswa sekarang jarang yang gemar membaca buku karena cepat membuat siswa tersebut
jenuh dan bosan, tetapi dengan tampilan smartphone yang canggih dan lebih berwarna, para iswa lebih
tertarik untuk belajar melalui alat ini," ungkapnya.

Meski diakuinya ada dampak buruk namun jika diimbangi dengan pengawasan orang tua HP bisa
memberi keuntungan bagi murid dan orangtua.

�Dengan smartphone para siswa bisa menjadi high tech dan sangat bermanfaat bagi para siswa untuk
menjalani hidup di masa akan datang yang pasti teknologi semakin canggih, � tutur Yani.

Bagi para siswa dengan adanya larangan tidak diperbolehkan membawa HP kesekolah tidak membuat
semua siswa mengikuti aturan disekolah tersebut karena HP hampir sudah menjadi kebutuhan pokok
bagi semua masyarakat khususnya bagi para siswa pelajar.

Apalagi sekarang ini semakin bertambahnya sosial media yang hampir semua pelajar mempunyainya
seperti facebook, twitter, instagram, path, dsb. Ditambah lagi aplikasi chatt atau percakapan yang praktis,
mudah, dan keren seperti bbm, line, yang dapat mempermudah komunikasi bagi siswa dengan orang
lain.

�walaupun di sekolah dilarang membawa HP, saya tetap bawa HP karena kalau satu hari saja gak update
perkembangan di sosmed, gak enak aja rasanya,� kata Bayu siswa kelas 2 SMA Perguruan Al-Azar yang
di sekolahnya juga ada larangan para murid untuk membawa HP di sekolah.

Sekarang kembali kepada individu masing-masing. Dengan adanya smartphone, alat ini akan dapat
banyak membantu semua orang termasuk para siswa pelajar bila digunakan dengan sebaik-baiknya.
Sebaliknya smartphone dapat pula menghancurkan masa depan bagi siswa apabila para siswa salah
