Stage 1 - Brief

B1 Appoint project soft landings champion

Conduct stakeholder engagement, assimilate lessons learnt from existing
B2 AIM’s, asset stock and industry case studies

Identify all stakeholders requirements for functionality, operational and
B4 facilities management of the project asset (AIR)
Define high level performance outcomes and measures of success, utilising
P.O.E data benchmarks from existing building/ infrastructure assets

Establish exchange points at project work stages for information/ data

Arrange for information for the asset register to be issued for the project at
an appropriate and agreed time prior to practical completion and closed
out at an agreed time immediately after practical completion.

Undertake an early test exchange of data from BIM to CAFM including data
BC5 validation workflows.
Ensure that maintenance access and replacement requirements are
considered in design in conjunction with operator / end user and then
evaluated as part of the post occupancy evaluation for functionality and
effectiveness.
