1. Introduction
1.1 This Quotation is being prepared based on the inquiry from Mr. Nisar Aslam, Chief Engineer-
Raffles, Dubai, for the External and Internal Glass and Façade Cleaning by Specialist Work at
Height Rope Access Crew by specialist IRATA-UK Certified Rope Access Crew. A detailed Site
Visit by Work-at-Height specialists, Industrial Rope Access Experts, has been conducted, on 3 rd
March 2020.
1.2 The project will be executed by IRATA-UK Certified, Competent and Specialist Work-at-Height
Rope Access Crew, and the company, M/s SubDivo, maintains professional Membership
with SPRAT-USA, professional association of rope access trade.

1.3 The above certification and professional membership credentials of the SubDivo comply the
Dubai Municipality Guidelines of Rope Access Work, Doc. Ref. DM-PH&SD-P7-TG07.

Note: Rope Access Crew performing Window & façade cleaning activities at Grand Hyatt Pearl Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

1.4 Our innovative access methodology will avoid the use of Scaffolding or Crane or Cherry Picker
(MEWP’s-Mobile Elevated Work Platforms), instead the work can be carried out by IRATA
Qualified Rope Access Technician, who are trained and certified to perform the work safely.

2. Scope of work

It is important to keep the asset/buildings clean for


aesthetic reasons. But it is equally important the
design life of the asset is directly depending on
proper maintenance.

The heavy dust/dirt/bird droppings accumulation and


the etching effect or corroding the glass surface
along with façade features. Thus, frequent cleaning
maintenance schedule is mandatory to keep the
assets intact.

We, SubDivo, offers ideal maintenance cleaning


methodology and performing by qualified and
certified rope access (industrial climbers) crew.

2.1 External and Internal Glasses and Façade Cleaning -


One Cleaning Cycle.

2.1.1 Provision of IRATA Certified Rope Access Technicians,


Tools, Tackles and Equipment for the External and
Internal Glasses and Façade Cleaning of Raffles
Hotel, Dubai.

2.1.2 The IRATA Certified Rope Access Technicians will


access the difficult to reach areas by setting up the
necessary Rope Access System in compliance with
the International IRATA standards.

2.1.3 The Rope Access crew to Clean the Specific Hotel

2.1.4 The External Glasses and Façades of the Hotel Building


to be cleaned by ‘’Deep Cleaning process’’ by the Rope
Access Crew.

Note-1: Deep Cleaning Cycle; There’s excessive dust/dirt


accumulation evident at certain locations of the building. Thus,
require Low Pressure Water Cleaning Machines (Approx.
1500psi/100Bar) to be used for initial washdown, prior to the
applicator/squeegee/lint-free cloth with biodegradable detergent application & wipe clean by wiper
blades.

2.1.5 Pressure Water Cleaning with approx. 1,500psi LPWC Machine to be used for proper washdown of
the dirt and dust from the Glasses and Façades.

2.1.6 The Internal Glasses and Façades Atrium and Lobby areas to be Cleaned by Standard Cleaning
process by the Rope Access Crew.

Note-2: Standard Cleaning Cycles; Cleaning by applicator/squeegee/lint-free cloth with biodegradable


detergent application & wipe clean by wiper blades.

Note-1: A team of 10-Member Project Crew would be able to complete the specified scope of work in
25-workdays, 10-hrs. Work Shift, in a continuous project schedule.

Note-1: Any standby of the project crew due to reason beyond our control, such as; simultaneous
operations (SIMOPS), delay in issuance of work permit, harsh climatic conditions, etc will be charged
additional at the rate of AED 2,200/= per Project Crew & Equipment per 4-Hours of standby and
prorate in excess.

4. Contributions

4.1 Our contribution


4.1.1 Provide a team of skilled & IRATA-UK Certified Rope Access Technicians, HSE Office and other
project personnel as per the project requirements.
4.1.2 To ensure that the manpower assigned to Work at Height has valid IRATA Certification.
4.1.3 To ensure that the manpower has valid Emirates ID.
4.1.4 Supply general & specialist PPE and Rope Access Equipment and Accessories required for the
execution of the project.
4.1.5 Provide local accommodation and transportation for the project crew for the entire duration of
the project
4.1.6 Maintain housekeeping at work site for the scope of work related to SubDivo.

4.2 Client contribution


4.2.1 Offer area safe and free for reasonably continuous work execution.
4.2.2 Provide storage area in the near vicinity of the worksite for our materials and equipment.

4.2.3 Provide on-site supervision and assistance to carry out our work activities.
4.2.4 Provide rest room, dining and toilet facility for the project crew
4.2.5 Provide drinking water for the project crew during work-days
4.2.6 Provide safe to entry the work location
4.2.7 Provide Electricity, Water and Fuel as if required for the project execution.

5. SubDivo Standard Terms and Conditions

5.1 Document Conditions


5.1.1 This quotation is valid for 30 days after date of origin.
5.1.2 When Client refers to this document in their purchase orders, we understand that the Client
has read, reviewed and understood this document.

5.2 Downtime / Standby Conditions


5.2.1 Any downtime and or unworkable conditions after crew mobilised to work site, for whatever
reason, will be considered and charged as working time and charged as per the quoted
standby-day rate.
5.2.2 Typical standby conditions are due to reasons beyond our control, such as Delayed Gate Pass,
Work permit from concerned departments, SIMPOS-Simultaneous Operations at site, Extreme
Weather condition such as Hot Environment, etc.
5.2.3 Standby due to reasons beyond SubDivo control, such as instruction from the client, non-
issuance of work permit due to plant operational issues, etc.

5.3 Standard Liability & Insurance policy


5.3.1 This proposal is based on our Current Public and Employers liability insurance coverage.
Additional coverage to meet client project requirements, such as CAR-Contractors All Risk-
Insurance, etc. these costs will back-charged at cost +10%
5.3.2 During SubDivo activities, the liability of SubDivo is limited to the value paid by the SubDivo
insurer provider. SubDivo liability exposure will be capped to a maximum of 100% of Purchase
Order value.
5.3.3 Liabilities for consequential and or indirect damages are expressly excluded under all
circumstances.

5.3.4 The company is excluded from any level of responsibility towards third party warranties unless
stated otherwise. Under unit rate projects SubDivo warranties would be limited to
workmanship compensation only, if otherwise specifically specified in the proposal.
5.3.5 SubDivo shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this Agreement for
the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including
but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, extreme weather condition or labour disputes,
embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event.

5.4 Project Specific Conditions


5.4.1 SubDivo requires minimum 4 weeks lead time for mobilization after firm confirmation;
5.4.2 Personnel and equipment will operate 6 days per week, 10-hour shift per day - the shift includes
lunch and refreshments breaks.
5.4.3 Additional consumables and or materials beyond the standard scope of work (not stated in our
scope or contribution) will be included in our final invoice with a 10% surcharge to actual
purchase cost.

5.5 Financial conditions


5.5.1 All prices in this document are excluding 5% VAT or any other taxation and stated in AED
currency.
5.5.2 If there any additional taxes, or government fee related to the work scope, it must be paid by
the client.

5.6 Payment Terms


5.6.1 30% of the total project value to be provided as Advance Payment along with order
confirmation.
5.6.2 Balance to be paid within two weeks from the submission of invoice up on project completion.
5.6.3 Any delay in payment, you will be charged 1% from the total amount of invoice for each month
of delay.
