Introduction Game: FREEZE & MELT
 Students sit on circle and explain the game:
 One student begins with a red pool noodle, one with a blue pool
noodle. Blue represents freeze, red represents hot
 The player with the blue tags students, and if they get tagged they
13-14 have to freeze
mins  The only way to unfreeze is if the person with the red pool noodle
touches them and un-freezes them
 Even if it’s a ball, students have to touch the other students with it,
not throw it
TRANSITION: students will come to the circle and hear the next instruction
Body: NEXT GAME: CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
 Students will partner up and find a spot in the gym, each with one
ball
 The partners pass the ball back and forth to each other
 When the music stops, the person with the ball is it and the person
15 mins without has to run from their partner
 To tag them, they have to touch their partner with the ball
 The music will start up again and they partners will start over
 Give students 30 seconds to find a partner, grab a ball, and find a
spot on the gym
