Stage 3: Learning Experience


Prior to Resources  Whiffle balls
Lesson: to Bring:  Plastic tennis rackets
Time: Content/Description Notes/Assessments:
Introduction: WARM UP- Shark Attack
 Explain the game Shark Attack
 Have two separate games going on on both sides of the nets
 I’ll pick two people to be the sharks for each game
13 mins  Other players line up on the end line and try to make it to the other line
without being tagged
 If they get tagged they have to sit down and wave their arms around
 Their teammates will try and save them when they come back
 Play this a few times with different people being it
Body: Pickle-ball
 Show how to pass a whiffle ball with a partner
15 mins  Students will find a partner and line up- I will give them a ball and rackets
and they will find a place in the gym NOT using the nets passing back and
forth with their partner
Closure: Clean-up
2 mins  Students will nicely put their rackets in the bag and balls in the bag and
line up at the door
