Core Subject Description: At the end of the course, the students must know how to solve problems involving rational, exponential and logarithmic
functions; to solve business-related problems; and to apply logic to real life situations.

Culminating Performance Standard: The learners are able to apply their knowledge of Functions, Business Mathematics, and Logic in dealing with
the intricacies of mathematical and scientific concepts in higher education, entrepreneurial demands, middle-level skills development and employment
through utilizing appropriate mathematical and financial tools.

Power Standard: The learners are able to address the issues in the community using the concepts of functions, business mathematics and logic.
Performance Task: The Municipality of Victoria will be opening a business bazaar. In connection to this, you are invited to take part of the said event.
You are tasked to promote and to sell a particular item. Additionally, you are tasked to earn and gain much profit using a particular strategy applying the
concept of function.

    With this, the students will assume the role of young entrepreneurs to determine an effective business strategy applying the concept of function .
The students are expected to formulate a function to be used in their business then apply this in actual selling of items. In the end , they are expected
to earn much and present their effective strategy. The outcome will be presented to the credible people in the field of business.

        The strategy used for their business will be be evaluated according to the following criteria: accuracy (50%), presentation and organization
(30%), creativity (10%) and cooperation (10%).

The winners will be awarded as the Best Entrepreneurs.
