Dear Tempe Recreation Services,

After finding your job posting for K-3rd Small Ball Hoops Instructor, I
think that I could be a good fit within your program. I greatly appreciate
you taking the time to consider me for this position.

As a retired basketball player and previous swim instructor my expertise

is creativity and hard work. I played basketball through my highschool
years. I understand the strength, perseverance and attitude needed to
not only become a talented player but to also transfer the skills to other
parts of life.

As a swim instructor I was drawn to working with students of different

needs and abilities. It takes creativity and patience to adapt to different
needs in a fun and productive way. Being able to adapt to these
different students I grew as an instructor.

I hope to bring my skills as a basketball player and instructor to your

program to help improve players skills on the court and off the court.
My ability to adapt will make practices fun and engaging leading to
success at games.
