I am looking to work as an elementary school teacher. I am hardworking, adaptable, and creative and

FIELD EXPERIENCE
FEBRUARY 2020 – MARCH 2020
FIRST GRADE TEACHER ASSISTENT, WHITMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL / SEWELL, NJ
Participated in a 30-Day Student Teaching experience as part of Washington Township High
School’s Tomorrows Teacher course. The Tomorrows Teacher program is designed for students
who want to pursue a field in education.
 Observed how an average first grade class runs on an everyday basis
 Learned the procedures for every aspect of an elementary classroom
 Worked one on one and in small groups with students
 Graded tests, homework, and classwork, also went over my corrections with the
individual student.

EDUCATION
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL / SEWELL, NJ
EXPECTED GRADUATION - JUNE 2020
 Enrolled in Child Development Course – Course designed for students to learn about the
development of a child and their needs. Students enrolled in this course create lesson
plans to help the children learn information needed before the children go to
kindergarten.
 Enrolled in Foundations of Early Childhood Education / Teaching Methods for Early
Childhood Education – Course designed for students to learn more about writing lesson
plans, disciplinary actions, along with teaching methods and more for students who are
interested in working with young children in their future.
 Enrolled in Tomorrow’s Teachers course – Program is designed for students who desire
to pursue a job in education. Students enrolled in this course learn all about how to
become a teacher and what qualities are needed to become a good teacher.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITES
 Team Step Up – Club designed to help “at risk” students get back on track with their schoolwork.
Students who participate in this club meet once a week to help other students with schoolwork,
give them advice, and tutor them in order to help them better their grades and succeed in high
school.
