EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The overall report is based upon the whole experience with Justdial ltd which is India’s No.1 local
search engine. The project on Justdial ltd. is a company that provides local search for different
services in India over the phone and online. It provides digital marketing services via their mobile
app, websites and voice services.

I assigned as a Certified Internet Consultant (CIC) at Bhanjanagar, Ganjam, Odisha for various
tasks specially focused on create awareness about Justdial, acquisition of new customer, updating of
business data in Geniolite App (it is Justdial software where data can be save instantly by mobile
phone).

Based on that experience I am doing work on customers issue and requirement. More deeply i
would like to say that I found some persons are unaware about digital marketing system and I also
do create aware about internet and benefits and sale services for the company and for the company’s
market. During my job I am meeting with various types of people having with various types of
mind sets, perceptions, attitude, and interest.

From the time period of my work i found that the company having major problem are cost v/s
benefit, brand awareness, promotional strategies etc. After the market analysis experiences and
identification of issues i am working to create brand awareness of Justdial ltd and sales services for
company.

JUSTDIAL LTD

Introduction:
Justdial Limited is India's No. 1 Local Search engine that provides local search related services to
users across India through multiple platforms such as website, mobile website, Apps (Android, iOS,
Windows), over the telephone (voice, pan India number 8888888888) and text (SMS). Justdial has
also initiated ‘Search Plus’ services for its users. It has also launched JD Pay, a unique solution for
quick digital payments for its users and vendors, and JD Social, its official social sharing platform
to provide curated content on latest happenings to users. The organisation also aims to make
communication between users and businesses seamless through its Real Time Chat Messenger.

Corporate Information
1. The company's operations began in 1996 with offering local search services under the
Justdial brand, which is now the leading local search engine in India. The official
website www.justdial.com was launched in 2007.
2. Justdial's search services are available to users across multiple platforms such as website,
mobile website, Apps, voice and text (SMS).With the registered & corporate office based in
Mumbai, Justdial also has offices across India in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata and Pune.

SERVICES OF JUSTDIAL:

Justdial services extends from providing address and contact details of business establishments
around the country, to making orders and reservations for leisure, medical, financial, travel and
domestic purposes. We enlist business information across varied sectors like Hotels, Restaurants,
Auto Care, Home Decor, Personal and Pet Care, Fitness, Insurance, Real Estate, Sports, Schools,
etc. from all over the country. Some of services that will provide useful to you on a day-to – day
basics are like Shop online, Order Books, Order flowers, Hotel Bookings, Movies, Entertainment
and Events, Order Groceries, Order Medicines, Train Booking, Book a Table, Online Recharge/
Bill Payment, Bus Booking, Order Food Online, Automobile, International SIM cards, Cab
Booking, Movies Online, Spa & Salon, Jobs, Flight Bookings, On demand Service and Foreign
Exchange etc. Holding information right from major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore,
Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Pune our reach stretches out to other smaller cities across the
country too.

SCOPE
Justdial has portfolio of products (type of listing a company can have with Justdial over phone &
web) and each product promises various hyper-local to local search benefits. There are some scopes
of work in this area is
 Increase the brand value of Justdial
 Updating of business data by Geniolite Software (it is Justdial software where data can be
save instantly by mobile phone).
 Responsible for acquisition of new customer for the organization.
 Meet with existing clients and sell them to value added services.

In order to achieve success from my work, the following steps are i.e.
 I assigned as a Certified Internet Consultant (CIC) at Bhanjanagar. Although it’s a rural
area so In order to increase the brand value I meet with different business persons to know
that are they aware about Justdial or not?
 In that process I got to know there are some persons not aware about Justdial and also about
using internet. They are doing advertisement of business through paper, Banner, Flex
printing etc. but they don’t want to enter on internet where they can get benefits vastly.
 My daily task is to meet with 7 new clients on daily basis and giving them presentation
about JD which is mandatory. To increase brand value of JD, I followed them regularly to
increase them to internet use and gave presentation about Justdial that how Justdial work,
how it gives services and how Justdial create a value for them by giving services etc.
 After that I am doing their business listing in Justdial platform by taking their permission. In
that process I am saving the data in B- form (which is in Justdial software) which filled up
with Business name, Address, Contact Number, Location, Owner name, Business opening
and closing time and what they are deals etc. So that when any one searches as per
requirement we can provide the data and we can connect with Business and customer.
 Justdial basically works with various packages or positions. Justdial has supreme packages,
fixed position and Platinum, Gold, diamond and premium positions. Premium position is a
very basic level and Justdial doesn’t promise great leads. The other 3 are fairly better when
compared to premium. Premium starts from 9000 and the highest position goes up to 5 lakhs
depending on the type of business.
 In order to sale the services I approaches to clients to accept this services where they will get
Lead Generation, will get admin, they will keep listed for 1 year and they will get world
class website on free of cost.
 On this process I have done 4 contracts (deal closed) till now.

ISSUES:
In a time of intense competition, with high customer expectations, companies are always interested
in retaining existing customers. In the service industry, a few empirical studies have reported on the
influence of demographics on customer service quality perceptions and behaviour. There are some
issues which are i.e.
 In marketing job there shall be meeting with different people who will have different mind-
set and perceptions. Basically this is a rural area so there are some peoples don’t believe our
services and don’t want to accept the services.
 As I am a fresher, I am new for that area, so there is a problem that prospects are
consistently asking unexpected questions and not interested to listen.
 Main cause is people aren’t aware about digitalization. Although that area is rural they have
been adopting traditional way of advertisement, they are doing advertisement of business
through paper, Banner, Flex printing etc. but they don’t want to enter on internet where they
can get benefits vastly.

In order to reduce the issues I follow some steps:


 Basically, when I meet with new client I ask to download JD mobile application from their
phone. So that they can get benefits by searching and get idea about Justdial.
 I listen objections carefully form client and try to solve their problem
 In order to contact with client we usually take the visiting card from client. On basis of
increase of knowledge about JD, I usually follow that client by phone call and regularly ask
for services and aware about JD.
 As a CIC I do make paste the JD stickers on shop wall or shutter, so that it’ll come under
visualise to see another and can believe.
 For the adopting of JD services or increase the prospects, I visit one market to another
market. So that I can able to make client base.

CHALLENGES

No company is exempt from sales challenges. Even the most high-performing sales teams face
obstacles in developing buyer relationships and effectively communicating with prospects and
customers. There are some challenges which are i.e.
 After meet with clients there is a challenge to getting a response from client which is a big
challenge.
 On daily basis I meet with 7 new clients, interact and giving them presentation about
Justdial to find qualified leads.
 Another challenge is standing apart from my competitors. There are different types of
competitors who are giving some other benefits. So I am trying to aware about JD and
giving correct presentation and showing them their competitor’s details that have tie-up
with Justdial.
 Asking related questions prospects to know their want, need and pain points and motivating
them to get benefits.
 Finally, I do maintain customer relationship which is more important because once my
prospect becomes a paid client I can maintain and build their trust.

OUTCOMES:
As a Certified Internet Consultant (CIC) I am working with Justdial from 13 th January 2020. As I
am a fresher and I am new also for that place I am trying my level best every time and I consider it
my learning.
 As per the company instruction I have to make 6 contracts in one month and I have already
done 4 contracts (deal closed) till now.
 I have sale 4 supreme packages which is validity for 1 year and 5 year. 1 year supreme
package (3 contracts) price is 9000+18% GST and 5 year package (1 contract) is
16000+18% GST.
 Although, I am considering it as my learning, here I have learned that how to demonstrate
basis of situation, handle the customer objection and making good customer relationship
where I can create client database which is need for future growth and I’ll keep my learning.

CONCLUSION

As per my experience I have noticed that it is a rural area (Bhanjanagar, Ganjam) where people
aren’t interest to accept internet advertising. They are not like to adopt services from Justdial.
They are always adopting traditional way of advertisement, they are doing advertisement of
business through paper Ad, Banner, Flex printing etc. but they don’t want to enter on online
promotion activity where they can get benefits vastly. This is because of lack of knowledge
about Justdial and internet also. For this reason I appointed as a Certified Internet Consultant
(CIC) to creating that awareness of Justdial by giving them presentation to sale services. I have
learned so many things which are mostly require for growth in future. Here, My Team Leader
(Mr Sk Amir Baksh) has more contribution towards to making me fluent in market and he is
also motivating to achieve the goal.
