EFFICIENC OF WIND TURBINE

To calculate efficiency of wind turbine we have to obtain kinetic energy of wind and energy produced
by our turbine.

To determine kinetic energy of wind we will use following formula:

Where:
A – surface on which the wind is acting
𝑘𝑔
𝛿 - density of air(we will assume that density of air is equal 1.2 𝑚3)
V – velocity of wind(we will obtain it using wind tunnel equipment)

Energy of turbines we will obtain by measuring the voltage and current produced by generator and
calculate it using this formula:
